USSR — Flyer “To the visitors of the Soviet Pavilion”

Message of Nikolaï Podgorny, President of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, à for the visitors of the Soviet Pavilion. “This year is a special one for our state. In November the Soviet Union will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution which set free the spiritual and physical forces of our people, rallied them for the building of a new society. It stands to reason that the display cannot reflect all the events and heroic feats of the past fifty years of Soviet history. Our aim is to describe at least some aspects of the brimful life of the multinational family populating the 15 Union Republics of the land of Soviets, the work we do and our cultural achievements, how we rest and study, what we have accomplished and what are our future plans.”
