Radio Nederland’s programming for the Expo 67 period. The booklet also describes the participation of the radio in the exhibition of the Dutch pavilion. “In this exhibition room the visitor can mount a flight of stairs to a sort of platform which con- tains the musical centre, and there he can get acquainted with stereophonic music programmes recorded and compiled in our Radio Nederland studios in Hilversum. In one of the specially designed booths he will be able to relax and enjoy a programme of ‘Netherlands music through the. Ages’ or ‘Netherlands chamber music’, or listen to Dutch Jazz and Beat, to folkloristic music, entertainment music or even to music from Surinam and the Netherlands Antilles. Well, the music tapes are ready to be started in Montreal. The Dutch pavilion is completed and waiting to receive you. The lights go up. At this EXPO 67, devoted to ‘Man and his World’, the Dutchman shows what he did with his small piece of the world, how he lives there and thinks he can go on living, realizing he can do this only if he maintains close relations with all those other men in their own small worlds!”
