PHOTO — French pavilion (exterior)

Designed by Jean Faugeron, chief architect and Grand Prix de Rome laureate, in collaboration with André Blouin (Quebec), the France Pavilion featured a modern and sculptural architecture. Its monolithic structure, with eight levels hollowed out at the center, was wrapped in aluminum sunbreakers, creating dynamic light and shadow effects. Inside, visitors explored exhibitions on the themes of tradition and invention, showcasing French culture, art, and scientific innovation. A restaurant and a cinema enhanced the experience.
